We do not archive or sell user memories. Data retention may vary depending on system state and ongoing improvements.
Because Kyon operates as a partially autonomous system, certain data may no longer be retrievable if it has already been removed or processed by the system.

Encryption for conversations may not be fully implemented in early stages. We are actively working toward expanded encryption coverage as the platform matures.
While we prioritize security, no system can guarantee absolute protection against all threats, and users are encouraged to exercise discretion when sharing sensitive information. If material security risks are identified, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users.
SMS & Communications Policy
Operational messages (including SMS) may be used to provide core service functionality, account updates, and system notifications.
Communication policy:
- By using paid services, users consent to receiving necessary operational communications related to their account.
- Marketing communications will only be sent if you explicitly opt in.
- You may opt out of non-operational communications at any time.
- We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.
Autonomous System Notice
Kyon is designed as a semi-autonomous intelligence system with oversight and guardrails over system-level changes.
It may:
- Learn new operational skills
- Refine capabilities over time
- Propose improvements to shared functionality
However:
- Personal user memories are not shared with other users.
- No personal data is redistributed as "skills."
- Shared improvements go through internal review before deployment.
Trials, Billing & Refunds
Each individual is limited to one free trial per lifetime, free trial eligibility may be determined using account identifiers, and refunds are not automatically guaranteed.
Refunds may be issued at our discretion in cases involving:
- System malfunction
- Billing errors
- Verified service failure
We do not offer prorated refunds unless otherwise required by law. Our priority is resolving issues directly and improving service reliability.
Limitation of Liability
Kyon is provided in an evolving state.
